For kids' birthdays, simpler shapes with bright colors keep everyone engaged. For adult celebrations, we can go more sophisticated with layered techniques and moodier palettes.
2. Get the Guest Count and Space Right
Our parties work beautifully for groups from 6 to 60+. Each painter needs about 2 feet of table space. A dining room comfortably fits 8–10 painters; a living room with folding tables can handle 15–20; larger groups do great in a backyard, clubhouse, or rented hall.
Don't stress about supplies — we bring everything: easels, canvases, paints, brushes, aprons, and table coverings.
3. Time It Like a Pro
A guided painting session runs about 2 hours. We recommend starting the painting 30–45 minutes after guests arrive, so everyone can settle in with food and drinks first. Cake and gifts fit perfectly after the final brushstrokes, while paintings dry.
4. Add Personal Touches
Some of our favorite birthday extras: a custom painting inspired by the birthday person's favorite place, matching color palettes with the party decor, and a group photo with everyone holding their finished canvases — it makes the best thank-you card image.
